This is the camino which has the most pilgrims starting from outside Spain. You’ll start in Saint Jean Pied de Port and will start climbing the Pyrenees mountain. You can choose 2 routes to Spain from here, but on the Spanish site they will come together again.
The difference between the way of Napoleon and the Valcarlos route. The first goes higher in the Pyrenees than the other. They meet eachother again in Roncevalles.
